So Light of motiram steam page gets some changes There is a penguin now. Not surprise that with the Sony lawsuit incoming they probably are just bidding time on this. I do think that there is some interesting elements in the gameplay but I am not sure if sony will give them a license deal on this.

Recap: SONY PlayStation to Sue Tencent for Horizon Plagarism

Similar to Palworld looks like Tencent one of their studios will get letters from Sony on the game Light of Motiram looking too similar or a copy of Horizon Forbidden Dawn.

I am not surprised by this looking at the game has everything from camera angles, costumes and setting just the same as Horizon. I did watch on sacred symbols podcast that Tencent wanted to make a horizon game but did not get the license approved from SONY.

Gabe Newell Start using AI like 19 year olds, Don’t follow passion

AI Tools a Cheat Code for Devs. Found this interesting interview with Valve founder and his thoughts about AI. he has not given much interviews but its still interesting to hear his viewpoints on AI.

AI for better or worse is here and we might as well learn to leverage it or figure out what it might have on society as we won’t know yet.

Other things that came up in the interview, Don’t Follow your passion but have a great team on board.

Battlefield 6 and Godot for Map editing and UGC

Godot to be used as a Map Editor for Battlefield 6 UGCs I do think this is due to the Open source nature as revealed in the multiplayer video. This can be hude for godot to gain traction if Battlefield 6 becomes popular

I have been looking at Godot as an alternative to unity for my dev needs its lightweight and small with its own built in code editor. If Battlefield succeeds it will bring in more users to Godot.
