🎮Game News
Battlefield 6 a return to form?
So it’s Battlefield 6 showcase if you sixth of return to the original form that it was about big large battle skills war it also showcases a trailer with a single player campaign with a multiplayer campaign showcasing a lot of the destruction and large battles. it looks like you know the game is going back to the roots. Hopefully I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
I’ve only played the early battlefield games I think 1942 and later went to call of duty. But I did enjoy Battlefield with its large battles in multiplayer. Its been a while since these reveals showcase Single player mode rather than those battle royale style maps.

Luminous Engine Wasted / Bethesda Never understood fallout
Luminous Engine
Luminous Engine (Now Abandoned) had a lot of potential but sadly it only has 2 games and got shut down. I do feel that the industry will just run on Unity and Unreal. Since so many hobbyist and students get to learn how the engine works.
Square-Enix is a game maker so they probably don’t want to keep maintaing tech that hinders production. Some of the major titles like Final Fantasy and Kingdom hears already use Unreal.
I do wish I can try out some of the tech or it gets opened to try. But with so much copyright and effort to maintain an engine it might not be worth it for them. Unless they want to teach others to use the engine.
Bethesda and Fallout
Video Essay from Youtube about the new direction ever since Bethesda took over, but something is lost in the translation as it went 3D and the gameplay changed. This long video that Youtube Recommended me, details about maybe after Fallout went to Bethesda it did not quite get the charm and dark humor of the first 2 ones. The other thing was the tone where the 50s were kind of still preserved post nuclear war and not a society that evolved around the effects of nuclear war.
I do think Obsidian game in the Fallout Series may have captured some of the old feel of the post war apocalyptic tone of the game.
