Call of Duty 6 Black Ops comes to Game Pass Day 1

This was announced with the new Live Action Trailer that dropped.

Months back there was already talk about putting Call of Duty on Game pass and it looks like CoD 6 Black ops might be a way to test if they can grow their flat line game pass subscriptions.

I do think Game Pass was interesting to the gamer that is ona budget. But the lesson like Nextflix did still applied where you have to lose a ton of money to break even. But Games are more Expensive than

Microsoft made the announcement alongside the release of a live-action reveal trailer called 'The Truth Lies'. In it we see world leaders including Bill Clinton, Margaret Thatcher, George H. W. Bush, Colin Powell, and Saddam Hussein, delivering cryptic speeches. Black Ops 6 is reported to be set during the events of the Gulf War during the early '90s.

This was both echoed in the two podcasts by Jeff Grub. On Transmedia it can help elevate game properties, but not all viewers might go buy a $600 console to play.

Just look at the Mario Movie, the game Netflix shows like The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077 and now fallout these movies and TV have cause an increased interest in game properties and sometime more game and hardware sales.

It was an interesting discussion and winning a mainstream audience is hard but I am not sure if it will make more gamers to sell games to.

I recently found this video on YouTube by a Blizzard Game designer @Andrew Chambers design for World of Warcraft. Here he is making the case to support indie games.
