Wrote on my Medium Blog that Arkeytsu is free. They went to made it go free I guess due to some difficulties in the company. You can read about this more in their blog post.

Akeytsu
Right now Akeytsu is free. Yes totally free to use no Trial Nags or limits you can even use if for your own indie projects.
Just go to their homepage register and get an educational license.
It was an animation program I was interested to learn besides Maya back in 2017. Its focus is for animation and rigging, with easy to use UI tools.
In a blog post dated around March 2022 the founder said that the company Nukeygara making Akeytsu is no more. I am reading that the founder has transferred to another education company GameSup. Hopefully they can continue the work started and develop the software even further.
I like software that is opinionated and has conventions setup for specific tasks rather than have everything all thrown into the mix like Blender or Maya.
It has quite a few projects that it was used on student and commercial.
